- Computer-based collaborative learning
In this topic you will learn some basic concepts related to computer-assisted collaborative learning. We will present some selected examples of computer-based collaborative learning, as well as additional links in the field of collaborative learning using ICT. In the table below we present a comparative analysis of online collaborative learning environments, which you can explore in more detail below. Through the guides you will learn about the following online collaborative learning environments: Moodle, Edmodo, Google Classroom, Nearpod, Mahara, GoConqr, Trello, Padlet.
As a conclusion to the section, you must pass a quiz designed to check your understanding of the content presented. As a recommended activity, you are welcome to participate in the forum, where you are invited to share your experiences with computer-supported collaborative learning.
- Project-based learning
In this topic you will learn about the project-based learning approach, how to evaluate it and how to support it with ICT. We present various examples of planning project-based learning supported by collaborative learning environments such as Mahara, GoConqr, Nearpod, Moodle, Padlet, Trello, Edmodo and Google Classroom.
As a conclusion to the section, it is mandatory to submit an assignment in which you are required to plan a project-based learning activity and develop a framework for it in one of the presented tools. Participation in a forum on the topic of project-based learning is recommended.
